NEWS FROM THE STABLES

Fangfoss Girls - We are pleased to say that after the recent move to Gary Moore's yard near Horsham in West Sussex, the 3 year-old filly is settled in well and working well. Today I went to see her riding work and she is very relaxed and eating well. On the gallops she showed great determination and at 7 furlongs she pulled ahead of the two older geldings she was on the gallops with!! Not bad for a 5 or 6 Furlong sprinter! She runs next week - so more news to follow.

Dancealot Lady - Another trip to see our 2 year old. She is working well and is ready to go into full training. We have chosen Peter Winkworth as trainer. He has a great yard nearby and this will suit this young lady as she enters into the competitive world of racing. We hope she will be ready to race later in the summer.

Out of the Starting Stalls

This is my first blog so I will start by telling you a bit about our company. If you don't want to read this then go to our website http://www.fieldandcountry.co.uk/ and its all there.
We are based in West Sussex in the UK and currently own three race horses. Our three year old is in training with Gary Moore, our two year old is in pre-training but starts at "big school" next week, and our little lad - the colt is sunning himself in the field and growing bigger by the day.

My wife and I own other horses as well, although all you horse people out there will know that doesn't mean we are rich - horses may as well miss out the middle man and just eat your wallet!!

So back to the racehorses - we have shares available as a fully registered owner in the 3 and 2 year olds - and it is nowhere near as expensive as you might think. As an owner you can visit the horses, own a part share in their winnings and their value and enjoy a free day at the races as an owner when the horses run. Field and Country Racing do all the hard work so you can enjoy the thrills. Please take a look at our website and contact me for more info.

Our owners include a retired lady, a group of people from an office and a pub. So you can join register as an individual or a group - its so easy and great fun.

We will update our blogspot regularly so keep on visiting. And we hope to see you at the races!!
